Last year to celebrate my tenth year of a wonderful life on dialysis I sort of got in shape and canoed 225 miles with the Grand River Expedition 2010. It was an incredible journey as is my current one to live an outstanding life on dialysis. Together we raised $17,000 for the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan and inspired dialysis patients and others living with chronic illnesses to get outdoors and live an active and fruitful life. Since 2001 The Riverdudes, my National Kidney Foundation of Michigan Walk Team has raised $71,000. This year we have set a goal of $5,000. Please help us to meet it so that NKFM can help others to live a life without the need for dialysis or a kidney transplant, perhaps even you or a loved one.

Thank you

We exceeded this year's goal of $5,000 for the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan. Thank you very much for your continued support. Erich

Jacob's Class Project

Jacob presented this poster along with the
for his what I did last summer project.

This is what home hemodialysis is all about.  I'm so glad to be alive so that I could share this experience with my son, daughter, spouse and all those who supported me on the water and through their donations.
